The work
A kite seen from below, against the light. The lozenge shape is not a surface but a box: a succession of frames sinking one inside another down to a yellow core, and the string comes down from the lower vertex and is lost in the darkness of the field.
It is the pastel Antonina chooses as the plate of her painting album of 2009, and which the following year returns among her images in the catalogue of the Reymontówka symposium: of all her sheets it is the one that has been shown most.
