The work
A stepped pyramid, seen from the corner, lit with an orange that seems to come from inside it; along its axis descends a white column made of squared segments, thinning until it touches the darkness with a point. To the right, much smaller, the same figure repeats once.
The title — «Personal pyramid» — says that this construction is not a monument but a portrait. It dates from 1997, like the Kite, and like the Kite it is among the few pastels the artist chose for her own publications.
