Zatrzymane w Pamięci — Droga II

Between 2004 and 2006 the artist gathers under a single title — Zatrzymane w Pamięci, held in memory — a series of pastels in which recollection takes the form of thresholds and roads: doors thrown open on a path of light, shadow figures waiting, a cloth clenched in despair. Each sheet carries the autograph title beside the signature, and the dense weave of the hatching gives the scenes the substance of a memory.
