The work
Two compositions of 1995, twins: bunches of dry grasses, ears of corn, thistles, the orange lanterns of physalis and silvered pods, mounted high on pale grounds and rendered in pastel with the care of a herbarium.
It is the subject that occupies her in the nineties alongside the abstract pastels: the flower not fresh but dried — the plant, that is, at the point where the form stays and the colour goes.
