Impresje na temat muzyki Chopina

2010 is the Chopin year in Poland, the bicentenary of his birth, and music enters the title of three works: «Impressions on the music of Chopin». Antonina does not illustrate them, she builds them — blocks set together rising in a column at the centre of the field, each shifted a little on the one before, in a lime-coloured light that dulls them all alike.

In March of that year she is at the Reymontówka in Chlewiska, at a painting symposium named for the Chopin year: it is the second of the only two painting symposia the archive knows of — the other, in the same place, is of 2007.
