The work
September 1986, two sheets in the same sitting and the same red pencil, on a heap of brown drapery. In one the model lies at full length, her head resting on her arm; in the other the framing cuts the body and what remains are the bent legs and the hips, without a head — a nude treated as a relief: the figure does not pose, it is simply there.
Antonina draws from life all her life, but of these sittings the archive keeps very little. These two sheets are what is left, and they carry the same date.
