The work
It is made between the first and the eighteenth of May 1997 at the fourteenth international symposium of Fanano, in the Modenese Apennines: in the local sandstone, squared off with broad strokes, a gathered hollow opens — an intimate concert, to be heard from close up. A bronze maquette prepares it; the stone stays at Fanano.
