The work
Two bronze spires rise side by side and almost touch at the tip. The surface is all craters and ridges, and in the hollows the patina turns to blue; below, a base of mottled granite. **The full title comes from the artist’s own album, and the catalogue did not have it:** «Droga do nieba do tekstu Dantego» — the way to heaven, after Dante’s text. It is the first of the two Dantesque bronzes: two years later she returns to the same text with a disc split by fire.
