The work
Two oak figures a metre and a half high stand facing one another, hooded, their hands gathered at their chests, the wood left rough and marked by the gouge.
These are the years of the wood sculpture symposia in Podlasie — at Hajnówka Antonina works and exhibits between 1969 and 1973 — and the work is today in an Orthodox church at Czeremcha, not far from there.
