The work
Zmaganie — «Struggle» — is a travertine of 1982, the only one in the catalogue: on the flank of the block four fingers curl over the edge, like a hand gripping it, between one face left rough and one dressed smooth. The family prints show Antonina beside the finished work, out of doors, her hand resting on the stone: it is she who gives it its scale.
