The work
The disc is cut vertically and the two halves draw apart just enough to let a closed, pointed bud, run through with veins, rise out of the fissure.
It is the third of the discs shown together at Siedlce in 2009, and the most explicit: in the cycle the disc is a casing, and what counts is whatever manages to get through it.
