The work
Two valves of maple part: inside, a hand grips a sphere whose surface is cut into facets, and from the fissure a flow painted red runs down to the base. Granat: a title that in Polish holds together the pomegranate and the grenade, and the work does not resolve the ambiguity. When it goes back on show at Siedlce, in 2021, the label dates it 1998.
