The work
Here the tear divides the face itself: the two halves slide across one another, held by brass cramps at the head and at the shoulders. It is the second of the two Rozdarty — same title, distinct works — carved in 1984, today in the collection of the Centrum Rzeźby Polskiej at Orońsko.
