The work
The Discobolus of 1976 is the prologue to the series of the Discs: here the disc is still the attribute of the thrower — a bronze hand grips it from below — before becoming, in the eighties, a field of forms in its own right. The work is commended at the national exhibition «Sport w Sztuce» at Katowice in 1976.
